**Some ESC’s have a built in Battery Eliminator Circuit which allows the power to the
receiver to be taken from the main battery at the correct voltage and does away with
the need for a separate receiver battery.
If receiver has BEC and separate receiver battery is preferred, then some ESC’s
require the red lead from ESC to the receiver be left disconnected.
