Members buy, build and bring their models to Westport small lake. Some relax and sail their yachts while others tear around with fast electrics. Many build and sail scaled models of all types of boats and ships. Come down to the lake and be surprised by what you may see next.

Please note internal combustion engines are not allowed at Westport lake.

Our main venue is Westport Lake, Stoke-On-Trent.  However we do hold some of our events at other venues, please check our events diary page before visiting us.

We meet lakeside on Wednesday & Sunday mornings from 9:00 am - 1:00 pm throughout the year with only severe weather or icy conditions deterring the most hardened sailors amongst our members.

Westport Lake has seen major improvements with the installation of a play area, in addition, there is a small woodland maze walk.

There is also a visitor centre with a cafe, associated viewing gallery and toilet facilities.
